Complex, high-toned, resiny. Orange, mango, apricot, strawberry, honey in aroma and cup. Brightly bittersweet structure with juicy acidity, plush, milky mouthfeel. Perfumed finish with leading notes of lemon and apricot.

Leopoldo Andrade Barragan initiated and planned this farm creation project. He worked for 30 years in the banking sector and was able to support and finance projects of all types.
In 2014, with his wife Ligia Merizalde they get into this agricultural project with three objectives in mind: to have their own company, to be part of the environmental landscape of specialty coffee production in Ecuador and to produce a sustainable coffee sustainable (socially and environmentally).
Located between 1400 and 1600 meters above sea level, each of the farms covers 19 hectares and cultivates a dozen varieties including the Sudan Rume (the only farms in Ecuador).
In the background, you can admire the majestic El Reventador volcano, The varieties grown on these two farms are typica, pacamara, java, sidra, yellow and orange bourbon, catuai and geisha. For the moment only the varieties typica and pacamara produce. The farm is divided into small plots.



This coffee arrived to our Roastery via ifest. Fest coffee Mission is aCompany that provides only direct trade green coffee from farms in Central andSouth America. They represent more than 200 farms from Guatemala, El Salvador,Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Papua New Guinea, Colombia and Ethiopia. Theypay considerable attention to the natural way of coffee processing, as well asto the experimental aerobic and anaerobic types of fermentation. Collaborationwith them started 2018.

Today the project is 6 years old and coffee has become a real passion for Leopoldo and linking his daily life with the future of an agricultural activity is very enriching. With the help of a dedicated technical team, Leopoldo supervises all the processes and participates each year in numerous national and international coffee competitions. Its aim is to position Ecuador as a key player in specialty coffee.
As he puts it so well, he is very proud to have created a "coffee community" behind this project, his family, his teams, farm workers, local politicians ... All have been made aware of sustainable production. Leopoldo is very interested in market trends, the evolving tastes of amateurs around the world. It is for this reason that he innovates, develops new processes and seeks to differentiate his cups. His farm located in the Amazon rainforest offers him a haven of peace in which he wishes to produce high quality coffee while respecting this magical place, lung of the world.
